Ryan Reynolds has revealed that he has not bought a house in the Wrexham area and believes he couldn't pull off moving his whole family to Wales.
There had been reports that the Deadpool actor had bought a £1.5million house in the village of Marford, a few miles from Wrexham, but Reynolds has now denied that by saying the reports "aren't accurate at all".
Reynolds and fellow actor Rob McElhenney became co-owners of the club in 2021, and have just guided both the men's and women's sides to promotion. Wrexham's men ended a 15-wait for a return to the English Football League just last month.
Speaking on the Fearless In Devotion podcast, Reynolds addressed the reports he had bought a property to be closer to the Racecourse Ground and his new passion.
"I mean I've got four kids here in New York," he said. "There was an article that said I'd bought a home over there, but that was not accurate at all."
Ryan added: "Look, we love it, but to move our entire families over there, that would be a real act of superior black belt manipulation on my part. I can pull off a few things, but I don't think I could pull that off.
"Both my wife and I love coming over, though. We also love going to California, but we don't live there, so you know, yeah, maybe one day - who knows?"
Reynolds, 46, and his Hollywood actress wife Blake Lively share four children together.
On the same podcast, McElhenney added that his "kids are a little older" and he might be able to "force their hand" in terms of a move to north Wales.
