Ryan Reynolds has reportedly bought a house for £1.5 million in a small Welsh village.
The 46-year-old Hollywood A-lister has become incredibly popular in Wales after buying Wrexham AFC. The commitment to the club as well as a seemingly heartfelt desire to embrace Welsh culture and language has warmed both Reynolds and his friend and business partner Rob McElhenney to people across Cymru.
Normally living in New York, Ryan Reynolds is reported to have bought a house in the village of Marford, just five miles from the Wrexham ground. In the Big Apple he lives in a £4.3 million property with his actress wife Blake Lively and their four children the Mirror reported.

"Ryan is moving to Marford and it’s all the locals can talk about. His house is on the poshest road," a source told The Sun. "The most famous person from Marford is Tim Vincent from Blue Peter, so a Hollywood star is a step up! It might not be the Big Apple but the red carpet will be rolled out when Ryan comes to town.”
Ryan and Hollywood actor Rob McElhenney bought Wrexham FC back in 2020 and have spent £10million on the club as it bids for promotion to the Football League. The Reynolds family have regularly been seen at the club as they race for the promotion title.
Last month Mr Reynolds posed for pictures with his newborn baby, wife Blake Lively and their other children on the Racecourse pitch before their game against York. He has been very vocal about his role heading the Welsh club. In an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, he said: "I remember seeing Blake, saying, 'I have bad news and I have really bad news. I slipped into someone's DMs again. The really bad news is that I might have bought half of a fifth tier national football league in Wales'."
The Mirror has contacted Ryan Reynold's representative for comment.
