Just like everyday folks, celebrities also experience cases of mistaken identity.
Ryan Reynolds recently revealed in an interview on the Dear Hank &John podcast that he’s regularly mistaken for Ben Affleck at a pizza joint in the East Village part of New York City
Reynolds said that he had visited the place to grab a slice for years, and they’ve continued to confuse him for The Tender Bar star.
“There’s a pizza place in the East Village of New York that I’ve been going to for years. They believe I’m Ben Affleck and I never corrected them,” Reynolds said.
“I feel it would not go over well if I revealed. I do everything normal like everybody else.”
He further said that they think he’s Affleck and will ask him how J.Lo is which answers, “Great, good.” And then he gets his pizza and carries on with the day.

Reynolds isn’t the first celebrity to be mistaken for a different star. Some prominent examples include Amy Adams and Isla Fischer as well as Elijah Wood and Daniel Radcliffe, amongst others.
But when he isn’t being mistaken for other Hollywood stars, he is working on several projects.
He just wrapped production on The Adam Project, a film about a man who travels back in time to seek the assistance of a 13-year-old version of himself, as well as Spirited, a musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.
When he’s not at work, Reynolds is a dedicated father. He married Blake Lively, an actress he met while filming the infamous Green Lantern film in 2011.
The couple has three children together, James,7, Inez, 5, and Betty, 2.
