Ryan Reynolds has confirmed the name of his and Blake Lively’s fourth child, whom they welcomed 16 months ago.
The name of the youngster had been kept a closely guarded secret since being born in February 2023.
Now the cat is officially out of the bag, with the Canadian actor revealing it while at the premiere of latest movie, Deadpool & Wolverine, in New York on Monday.
“I want to start by saying thank you to my wife Blake, who is here. I want to thank my kids James, Inez, Betty, Olin, who are here,” Reynolds said while addressing the audience, according to Variety.
“I hope that, if I'm lucky, this moment will be the most traumatic thing - that is, the contents of this movie - that happens in your wondrous lives,” he jokingly added.
According to various resources online, the name Olin is of Nordic origin and means “ancestor's heir” or “to inherit”.
It is typically a male name however Reynolds and Live have not yet revealed the gender of their youngest child.
They are also proud parents to three daughters: James, nine, Inez, seven, and Betty, four. Deadpool & Wolverine is released in the UK on Thursday and sees Reynolds reprise his role as the disfigured Canadian mercenary with superhuman regenerative healing abilities.
Starring alongside Reynolds is Hugh Jackman, who is bringing his iteration of comic book character Wolverine back to the big screen for the first time since 2017’s Logan.
Lively looked stunning at the premiere as she channeled her husband’s character in a red jumpsuit.
She enjoyed posing up a storm on the red and yellow carpet with friend and model Gigi Hadid, who payed homage to Wolverine in an eye-catching yellow ensemble.
