Ryan Reynolds has reportedly snapped up a £1.5 million house in a small Welsh village following his Wrexham FC success.
The Hollywood A-lister, 46, has become a local hero thanks to pumping cash into the struggling football club and has shown his commitment by owning a property in the area.
The actor is set to swap the bright lights of New York for the village of Marford, just five miles from his football ground.
It will be a stark contrast from the Deadpool star's £4.3 million in the Big Apple, where he lives with actress wife Blake Lively and their four children.
"Ryan is moving to Marford and it’s all the locals can talk about. His house is on the poshest road," a source told The Sun.
"The most famous person from Marford is Tim Vincent from Blue Peter, so a Hollywood star is a step up!
“It might not be the Big Apple but the red carpet will be rolled out when Ryan comes to town.”
Ryan and Hollywood actor Rob McElhenney bought Wrexham FC back in 2020 and have spent £10million on the club as it bids for promotion to the Football League.
The Reynolds family have regularly been seen at the club as they race for the promotion title.
Just last month, Ryan and his wife Blake enjoyed the perfect family outing as they proudly took their newborn baby to the club.
Ryan shares children James, eight, Betty, six, Inez, also three, and the newborn baby with the A Simple Favour actress.
Back in February, the A-list couple announced they welcomed their fourth child together. They haven't shared the name of their new daughter.
Blake has been stunning her fans as she showed off her toned abs just two months after giving birth.
The Gossip Girl star looked stunning in a bikini top and flared pants as she posed for a mirror selfie, as well as another snap showing her mixed-pattern ensemble while posing in the reflection of the mirror.
There was also a sweet group photo which featured Ryan and Blake smiling alongside their mums Elaine Lively and Tammy Reynolds.
The Mirror has contacted Ryan Reynold's representative for comment.
