A move to Rangers would be 'high' on the list of options for Hibs defender Ryan Porteous according to former Ibrox defender Alan Hutton.
The Scotland cap's future is hanging in the balance after he rejected a new deal at Easter Road last month and looks set to make his exit from the capital in the transfer window. Interested parties in the 23-year-old's signature include the likes of English Championship sides Watford and Stoke City, while Serie A team Udinese are said to be keen.
Hibs' hierarchy look set to cash in on the stopper, with the youngster being urged in some quarters to remain in the Scottish top flight with a move to Michael Beale's men, despite revealing his desire for pastures new. But Hutton isn't giving up on the chance he could make the switch to Ibrox claiming it would be a huge 'draw'.

Hutton told Football Insider: "I think an opportunity to go to a team like Rangers, playing in front of those amazing fans, European football. You are going to try and win titles, I think that is a big draw in itself. I am pretty sure that will be high up on his list."
Porteous told Sky Sports last month: "It was a very difficult decision. It was something that I didn't take lightly or make fast. I think I've been here for a long time and felt like I was progressing very well but it comes to that stage in everyone's career where you need to be taken out of your comfort zone.
"To try and seek a new challenge, take that in your stride and see how good you can become as a player because it's a short career. I've seen a lot of players that have left the club they love playing for, they have moved on. They've done great things and I'm ready to take that step."
