In-demand Ryan Mmaee isn't ruling out with linking up with brother and current Ferencvaros team-mate Samy at his next club amid links with Belgian upstarts Union Saint-Gilliose.
Record Sport revealed last month the 24-year-old has been scouted extensively by Celtic ahead of their return to the Champions League group stage. Ange Postecoglou is in the market for at least one forward as he aims to bolster his squad ahead of their looming title defence. Ferencvaros are understood to be keen to hold on to their talisman who netted 19 goals in all competitions for the Hungarian champions last season.
And Mmae has provided a boost ahead of the new season after revealing he is on course for a quick-fire return from the ankle ligament injury he suffered in April. It's all go for the forward who is set to star for Morocco at the World Cup against Belgium – the country of his birth. And it appears Mmaee is putting any speculation over his club future on the backburner as he focuses on making a major impact in Qatar.
Speaking to Walfoot, he said: "When it became final for us to travel to Qatar, I told myself to pinch me, because I thought I was just dreaming. Halilohich (Morocco manager) expects me to do the same for the Ferencvaros, to score a lot and to keep the ball in front if our defence is in trouble."
Mmaee has one year remaining on his deal in Budapest as teams continue to monitor is development with Ferencvaros.
