Ryan Jack has trolled Mark Reynolds over his Sky Sports gaffe after he claimed the Rangers man should've conceded a penalty despite being in the opposition's box.
The former Aberdeen man speaking to the broadcasting giant made the error of saying Jack's yellow card against St Johnstone at the weekend not only should have been red but that a penalty should have been awarded. That was despite the incident, which referee Willie Collum reviewed through VAR and chose not to take further action, occurring inside the Saints penalty area.
The Cove Rangers defender's blunder was caught by many on social media and Jack didn't miss it either with the ex-Aberdeen skipper sharing his disbelief with a 'banter years' barb.

Jack posted on Instagram: "Talking about me giving away a penalty in opposition box outside Pittodrie. Banter years man! I love this game!!!"
Reynolds said on Sky Sports: "The biggest thing for me was the consistency. The two incidents happen very close together and you don't go view the monitor to get your opinion on it but the other is the complete opposite.
"It's just trying to find that level of consistency. When you look back at the back at the tackle from Ryan Jack, he's caught him in the box and for all intents and purposes - it's a penalty."
