The New England Patriots find themselves in a bit of a hole following their loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Multiple ESPN analysts have weighed in about the future of the team ahead of their matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Former Steelers defensive back Ryan Clark appeared on ESPN’s Get Up Friday morning, alongside former Patriots defensive end Rob Ninkovich. Clark has been known to take shots at the Patriots and coach Bill Belichick in the past, and he delivered another blow on Friday, comparing this Belichick to the one in Cleveland.
“The guy coaching for the Patriots now kinda looks like the guy that got fired in Cleveland back in the day, and I’m happy about it,” Clark said. “I’m absolutely ecstatic.”
The Patriots lead the all-time series with the Pittsburgh Steelers by a 17-16 margin. The last time these two teams played was in the season-opener in 2019. The Patriots won by a 33-3 margin. In a game of uncertainties, one thing is for certain: Clark will be ecstatic if the Steelers come away victorious on Sunday.
