Ryan Christie says it's always nice to come away with Scotland as the Bournemouth playmaker reflects on his season so far, one year on from leaving Celtic.
It was a shock to some that the former Inverness star left Parkhead for the English Championship last summer but he's reaping the rewards of that now, playing Premier League football at the Cherries. On top of the adaptation in standard, Christie has also witnessed manager Scott Parker leave the club.
Christie's confidence no doubt increased on Saturday as he provided an assist for fellow former Celtic player Jack Hendry and scored the winning goal in a 2-1 Scotland win over the Republic of Ireland at Hampden, and he says it's been nice to get away with Steve Clarke's side after a busy start domestically. He said: "I have been loving the new challenge of the Premier League. It has been brilliant.

"Obviously there's been a few changes at the club but we have managed to steady the ship in the last few weeks and picked up some positive results.
"No matter how club football is going, for all the players, I think it's a nice break to come away. The boys are buzzing to see each other again when we meet and it's even more so when we pick up positive results.
"We can get a right good bit of confidence with the fans and within the camp for ourselves to go and push, and hopefully qualify for another major tournament."
