Ruud van Nistelrooy has admitted he felt annoyed watching Rangers' defeat to Ajax as he questioned PSV's elimination to the Ibrox men.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst took his Light Blues to the Netherlands for the second time this season following that stunning play-off win in Eindhoven. However, they could not replicate anything close to that result as they went down 4-0 in their Champions League group stage opener.
That result followed up a hammering from Celtic by the same scoreline just days before to crank up the pressure on the Dutchman and his players. PSV's defeat to Rangers over two-legs meant a drop to the Europa League group stages and they started their campaign with a 1-1 draw against Bodo-Glimt - a team very familiar to Hoops supporters. "When you see Rangers play like this, you think: God damn it, how did they get here?
"On the other hand, we also beat Ajax in the Johan Cruyff Arena. Then you see that football is funny. It can be weird, you know this can happen."

The games don't get any easier for Rangers in Europe's premier competition with Napoli ready for the trip to Ibrox.
They hammered Liverpool 4-1 at home and come full of confidence ahead of match day two.
