Ruthless Rangers clinch third consecutive SWPL Cup with dominant win over Hibernian

Rangers have secured the SWPL Cup for the third season in a row after a commanding 5-0 victory over Hibernian at Fir Park.

A crowd of over 4,000 watched as five different players found the net, helping Jo Potter’s side claim the first silverware of the 2024-25 campaign.

Few would have predicted such a one-sided scoreline, especially with Hibs leading the SWPL standings - two points ahead of Rangers - and having defeated them 3-0 in their previous meeting.

However, it was a perfect afternoon for Rangers, who might have scored even more if not for the outstanding performance of Erin Clachers, the Glasgow City goalkeeper currently on loan at Hibs.
