Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes are one of our favourite showbiz couples - and it’s clear how much they love each other.
Their love story began in 1995 when Eamonn was presenting breakfast show GMTV and Ruth moved to London in a bid to move up into mainstream television.
Eamonn, who had split from first wife Gabriella Holmes two years before, was introduced to Ruth by their mutual friend, TV presenter Sally Meen.
They deliberately chose to take their relationship slowly at the beginning as Eamonn wanted to be sensitive to his ex-wife and kids, so they didn’t even hold hands in public.
Eamonn proposed to Ruth out of the blue at Cheltenham races in 2009 and they were married in June 2010 - with son Jack born in February 2002.
Over the years, Eamonn and Ruth have become known for their romantic declarations of love, whether that be in the comfort of their own home or live on TV.

Last year, Eamonn transformed their family home so they could celebrate Ruth’s second birthday in a row in lockdown.
The Loose Women star shared a video of the amazing effort that her husband had gone to - transforming their dining room for a romantic dinner.
With Ruth’s birthday falling on Ireland’s national holiday, there was a St Patrick’s Day theme with big green four-leaf clovers scattered across the table.
A silver runner was placed down the middle of their dining room table, topped with mini tea lights, while a big bunch of flowers were displayed in a vase, including white roses and lilies.
Two place settings were ready for Ruth and Eamonn to sit down for their evening meal, which appeared to be accompanied by wine.
"Table set for two!" wrote Ruth, before adding: "Thank you to my wonderful family & friends for all your wonderful gifts, flowers and cards."
She continued: "And to EVERYONE who has sent me a birthday message today. LOCKDOWN BIRTHDAY No.2!!"
Ruth has also lavished her husband with incredible gifts - and had a few tricks up her sleeve for his 60th in 2019.
The presenter surprised Eamonn with a trip to Vienna in Austria and she had invited his loved ones along to join in with the celebrations.
Posting a picture of the pair on Instagram, Eamonn wrote: "Whisked off by Ruth on a complete Mystery trip for my Birthday. Ended up in #Vienna with my children waiting there for me!
"Never been before - can't wait to come back. Great time in a truly Majestic City."
But that wasn’t the end, as Ruth also presented Eamonn with an epic portrait painted by artist Colin Davidson.
Eamonn said: “An Honour to be interpreted at 60 by esteemed artist Colin Davidson. Thank you .
I had no idea how it would turn out but I think there's no doubt that's Me !”
There was more of the same for Eamonn’s birthday in 2020, where Ruth shared an intimate photo of the loved-up couple on Instagram.
"Happy Birthday to my wonderful, handsome, kind, generous, clever, big hearted and incredibly funny husband @eamonnholmes Love you," she penned, alongside a heart emoji.
Eamonn replied to the sweet post, writing: "Well that's a very nice thing to say .... albeit true. Here's to a Birthday vaccine for all."
But the couple don’t always get it right with their gifts for one another.
In February 2020, Eamonn was labelled ungrateful bu This Morning viewers when he criticised Ruth’s ‘rubbish’ Valentine’s Day gift.
They shared a touching moment when Eamonn read out a poem to his wife, which ended with the line: "So despite the old quarrel for the whole wide world to see, it is you Ruth Langsford who is the only girl for me."
But they had a domestic live on air when Ruth confessed she was "hurt" by her husband's "mean and unkind" comments about her gift.
Eamonn claimed Ruth was "robbed" when she confessed she paid over a tenner for the controversial present - a luxury bag to put your toiletries in when you go to the airport.
Eamonn replied: "Your way of showing you love and affection is get my anticipation up with this lovely romantic box and inside is tupperware."
When asked if he really hated it, Eamonn said: "I’m puzzled. This is the equivalent of me buying you an iron or mop and saying 'have some fun today darling'."
Insisting that he hadn't even written her love poem, Ruth said: "That's so mean. You're lucky you got anything."
In previous years, Ruth has celebrated her birthday live on This Morning in front of millions of viewers.
Back in 2017, Ruth and Eamonn left the This Morning studio mid-show to head down to the pub for a pint to celebrate her birthday and St Paddy's Day.
Rylan Clark-Neal asked everyone to follow him out as he gathered up the crew and chef Phil Vickery and marched down to the local boozer.
Ruth led the group into the local pub to commence the festivities, as they enjoyed a performance from Irish dancers and Irish band The Craicheads.
The pints of Guinness began to flow as Rylan admitted: "Even though we are slightly drunk now we are going to carry on with the show. We might be seeing double after a couple of them later."
The team sung happy birthday to Ruth and presented her with a massive cake as the drinks kept coming, then Rylan was forced to take away Eamonn's pint after it got too much for him and he started singing loudly.
A happy Ruth said: "Isn’t this lovely, who’d have thought we would be in the pub for my birthday with all these lovely people. I’m a bit worn out actually after doing that Irish jig."
