Ruth Langsford issued a swift warning to Loose Women viewers on Tuesday, fearing that the show could come under fire from fans of a certain TV drama.
The former This Morning presenter was at the helm of the ITV discussion show for the second day in a row, to join colleagues Coleen Nolan, Kelle Bryan and Janet Street-Porter on the panel, as they were joined by ex Brittas Empire and Absolutely Fabulous star Harriet Thorpe, to talk about her new role in EastEnders.
And EastEnders wasn't the only TV programme discussed over the course of Loose Women's hour long episode, as Ruth chaired a discussion about people being allowed to take more time off work when grieving the death of a loved one. The host linked the discussion to an episode of smash hit series Succession and a death storyline in the show, that has earned itself millions of loyal fans across the world.

Ruth began the chat by explaining that The Co-operative had become the latest firm to offer its employees more paid compassionate leave when a loved one dies, before informing viewers at home that Janet had based an article she'd written about grief on the Succession plot.
She then, pre-empting that fans might not be fully caught up with what happened and would therefore be irate at Loose Women for ruining things for them, looked down the camera lens and said: "Before we discuss it, I must just warn you, that if you are a fan of Succession and are not up to date and are watching a bit behind, Janet wrote an article based on something that happened in Succession and it's about someone who died in Succession."
Ruith added: "I'm just warning you now, don't email me. Spoiler alert! So, if you're a bit behind time for you to turn off or turn the sounds down or make a cup of tea."
