Ruth Langsford accused of snubbing 'nemesis' Holly Willoughby in live This Morning link

Ruth Langsford has been accused of snubbing Holly Willoughby during a live link on This Morning today.

The Loose Women presenter's husband Eamonn Holmes, 63, has made his feelings about Holly and Phillip Schofield crystal clear - but Ruth is yet to comment.

However, her demeanour with the Wylde Moon guru didn't go unnoticed by fans today when she spoke to Holly 42, and Josie Gibson, 38, about what was on the show.

During the link, Ruth joked she and Josie were both wearing green - even though Holly was wearing the colour too.

Complimenting the Bristolian on her outfit, she said: "We've got the green memo today Josie. You look great!"

Body language expert Judi James picked up on the 'snub', telling us: "The signs of tension had barely eased today but, as Holly sat primly, her hands touching and static on the table in front, Ruth brought Coleen into frame to allow her to have some relaxing banter in her own studio.

"When Ruth said ‘Hi Holly Hi Josie’ and their fixed smiles looked identical, her eyes flicked from side to side in a micro cut off ritual as though avoiding using eye contact."

Ruth was accused of 'gritting her teeth' yesterday when Holly asked what would be on Loose Women after she'd earlier asked This Morning viewers if they were ok in a post-Schofe statement.

The mum-of-three, who was sitting next to Josie and US Adam Lambert, smiled brightly as she said: "Let's find out what Loose Women are talking about today. Hi there, Ruth!"

Ruth, ever the professional, replied: "Yeah, we love Adam Lambert, too!", before blowing him kisses.

Many viewers found the whole thing 'toe-curling' as they took to social media to share their thoughts on the moment, with one saying: "Ruth looks Incredibly uncomfortable."

"Wow Holly having to crossover to Ruth on #loosewomen, considering how Ruth's husband has been sniping about Holly, that must of been awkward," added another.

While someone else shared: "Feel for Ruth! this is so wrong!"

Ruth's husband Eamonn, who used to present This Morning, gave a no holds barred interview on GB News about Holly, Phil and This Morning.

Among the bombshell claims, he said the culture was toxic on the show, that people must have known about Phil's affair with the young runner and that Holly was faking her friendship with co-host Alison Hammond.

The Mirror has contacted reps for Holly, Phil and Alison.
