Vladimir Putin’s top TV propagandist has threatened that Moscow will only stop its military push when its forces reach Stonehenge.
The weekly show of firebrand television anchorman Vladimir Solovyov - aka "Putin’s Voice" - has previously threatened to used nuclear Zircon missiles to bomb Britain back to the Stone Age.
In a new threat, he was challenged by a Ukrainian pundit on how far the Russian westward invasion would go before it halted.
“Well, when we have to, then we will,” he said.
“Where will we stop? Well, as I was saying today, maybe Stonehenge. Liz Truss says she's the one fighting the war.”
The British foreign secretary has become a hate figure for the Russian elite over her tough stance, and rigid determination not to compromise with Putin, as well as to continue arming the Ukrainians.
Solovyov’s rant at Ukrainian political analyst Vasil Vakarov including him repeating the slur: “You are Nazis…You are Nazis.”
The Ukrainian told Solovyov the Russians were poised to take strategic town Severodonetsk - and will soon control all over Lugansk and Donetsk regions.
He challenged the Putin cheerleader: “Where will you stop…When will you stop?”
But Solovyov - in common with other Russian hardliners - suggested that Putin should go on and storm Kyiv and Lviv.
It was at this point that Solovyov threatened to go on until reaching Stonehenge in Britain, claiming Truss believes herself to be part of the war.
It wasn’t the first time Solovyov had used his platform as a state TV anchor to threaten Britain.
Earlier this month the Russian propagandist claimed on air that the UK could be bombed back to the Stone Age in just 10 minutes with an attack by Vladimir Putin ’s hypersonic missiles.
Russia ’s new Zircon, or Tsirkon, weapons system could be deployed to wipe out 50 or 60 power stations, plunging the country into permanent darkness, Solovyov said.
It comes amid fury in Russia over what is seen as Britain leading the West in providing weapons to Ukraine in a “proxy war” against Putin.
That sitting of Solovyov’s show also featured Moscow-born Israeli pundit Yaakov Kedmi who once described Stalin as "the last statesman to take care of his country”.
Kedmi said: "One, or one and a half launches from a multi-purpose submarine with Zircons will be enough.
"About 50 or 60 of Britain’s power stations will be gone in 10 minutes.
"And all of Britain will be back to the Stone Age… Within 10 minutes, nothing else is needed…"
Putin claimed last month week that it had uncovered a plot by “neo-Nazis” backed by the West to kill Solovyov.
"They have moved to terrorism preparing the murder of our journalists,” he said.
However there were claims that an FSB secret service operation to explore the alleged assassination plot was a fake.
