Russian overnight strikes cause fires in Odesa and Zaporizhzhia

Ukraine’s regions faced a massive Russian attack overnight, according to official reports.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, six people, including a 4-year-old boy, were injured. Two houses were destroyed, and three others were damaged.

In Odesa, a Black Sea port city, three people were wounded, and a residential high-rise building and shopping centre were damaged late Thursday.

Regional governor Oleh Kiper confirmed the attack caused emergency power outages.

The Ukrainian military said that Russia carried out 94 airstrikes on Ukrainian forces and settlements, dropping 151 rockets and using 3,000 kamikaze drones.
