Aftermath of a Russian drone strike in Sumy

Ukraine's emergency services reported that a Russian drone strike in the Sumy region resulted in the tragic deaths of 12 individuals, including a child. Additionally, 11 people were injured, with two of them being children. The strike targeted a dormitory in the city of Hlukhiv, leading to rescuers working tirelessly to free those trapped beneath the rubble.

According to Ukraine's Air Force, Russia launched a total of 87 drones from Kursk, Orel, and Russia-occupied Crimea overnight. Of these, 51 drones were confirmed to have been downed, while 30 were reported as 'lost' across the country. It is worth noting that 'lost' drones can include decoy drones that may fall, become jammed, or even return to Russia.
