Russian Ambassador Accuses Western Nations Of Turning UN Into Spectacle

The UN Security Council met on Tuesday afternoon to address the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Russian Ambassador to the UN, Vassily Nebenzia, expressed his concerns during the meeting, accusing Western nations of using the council as a platform for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Nebenzia criticized the meeting, stating that it was orchestrated to provide Zelensky with a stage to showcase his views. Despite being outnumbered by representatives from European and NATO members, Nebenzia was granted a formal opportunity to speak towards the end of the meeting.

Following Nebenzia's remarks, President Zelensky addressed the council, sharing his perspective on the situation in Ukraine. The meeting continues to unfold as discussions surrounding the conflict persist.
