Ukraine-Russia latest news LIVE: Russia accused of bombing disabled care home in Kharkiv

Russia has been accused of blowing up a disabled care home near the city of Kharkiv.

Oleg Sinegubov, head of the Kharkiv regional state administration, claimed Russian troops had committed a “war crime” by striking the home  in the town of Oskil which had 330 residents inside.

Mr Sinegubov said 63 care home residents have since been evacuated, but did not give an update on the other 267.

Officials said Friday that at least 78 children have been killed in Ukraine since Russia invaded.

It comes amid reports that Russian forces have also destroyed 48 schools in Kharkiv, with fears of heavy civilian casualties.

Russian forces bearing down on Kyiv are regrouping northwest of the Ukrainian capital, according to satellite pictures.

Artillery strikes also targeted the central city of Dnipro, killing at least one person, as well as the city of Lutsk in the east.
