Russia has labelled Ireland as 'unhelpful to Russia' in a new list of countries published by state media as Ukrainian airstrikes continued on Monday.
It comes just days after Taoiseach Micheál Martin accused Vladimir Putin of being an "evil man" on the Late Late Show.
Three children and their mother became the latest casualties of the Russian invasion overnight, with attacks across the war-torn Ukrainian nation continuing.
And on Monday afternoon, the Russian Government produced a list of countries 'unhelpful and unfriendly' to Russia.
That's according to the state media agency RIA, who tweeted: "The government has approved a list of countries unfriendly to Russia. It included, among others:
- Australia,
- UK,
- EU countries,
- Iceland,
- Canada,
- Liechtenstein,
- Monaco,
- New Zealand,
- Norway,
- Korea,
- San Marino,
- Singapore,
- USA,
- Taiwan,
- Ukraine,
- Montenegro,
- Switzerland,
- Japan
Meanwhile, a nuclear expert has expressed his concern as Russian forces are attempting to take control of the power stations in Ukraine as part of their illegal invasion.
Russia currently has control of two plants - one being Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant in the southeastern city of Enerhodar, the biggest nuclear power plant in Europe.
The other is Chernobyl, which is not active but is still staffed and maintained.
The fighting at the Zaporizhzhia plant caused immense worry around the globe, particularly after a fire broke out at a building beside the reactor itself.
Professor Tom Scott of Bristol University explained to RTE Morning Ireland the situation as it stood now.
