Like many Denver Broncos fans, quarterback Russell Wilson seems to be a big fan of the team’s throwback colors.
Wilson Sporting Goods recently shared a screenshot from the NFL’s “Madden” video game showing the quarterback wearing Denver’s throwback uniform and Wilson re-shared it on his Instagram story with fire emojis.

Earlier this offseason, Wilson shared a behind-the-scenes video of his work with Denver’s receivers at the QB’s home in California. The footage included a clip of Wilson in his office with a Photoshopped image of him wearing a throwback uniform on his computer screen projected in the background.
Before that, Wilson and his wife, Ciara, visited the Children’s Hospital Colorado one day before the QB’s trade to the Broncos become official and Ciara was sporting a Broncos throwback jacket featuring the team’s old colors.
Wilson was also rocking a customized throwback hat with Denver’s “D” logo within two weeks of the Broncos agreeing to a trade for the QB.
It seems very clear that Wilson would support a revised uniform that embraces the team’s throwback look, but the team probably won’t make any big uniform changes before a new owner arrives. Denver will presumably have a Color Rush game this year, though, so fans will get a look at Wilson in a version of what seems to be his favorite uniform in 2022.
