On Tuesday, the Broncos and the Seahawks agreed on a blockbuster trade that will send quarterback Russell Wilson to Denver, ending a 10-year run in Seattle that included 9 Pro Bowls and a Super Bowl title. While the teams aren’t allowed to announce the trade until the league year begins, Wilson was able to acknowledge that his time in Seattle was coming to an end.
But if you were expecting a long farewell letter or highly produced video, you’re going to be disappointed.
On Wednesday, Wilson took to Twitter and offered a simple goodbye to Seattle. Six words and the number three was all he needed to move on from the Seahawks.
