The Clippers took Game 1 of their first-round series with the Suns, 115-110, on Sunday night in Phoenix in an intense game that had stars on both sides lighting it up.
There was also one fiery moment that took place off the court when cameras caught Clippers guard Russell Westbrook getting into it with a Suns fan while making his way back to the court after halftime.
This setup of having the opposing team run through the club section at Footprint Center, the home of the Suns, doesn’t seem to be ideal, especially during a heated playoff game.
One fan apparently said something to Westbrook, who fired back at him before going back on the floor.

“Watch your mouth, motherfu**er.”
This supposedly occurred at halftime of Game 1. Russ got the last laugh as Clippers beat Suns, 115-110!
Thoughts? 🤔

That sort of access for fans who likely have been drinking seems pretty ill-advised, but apparently it has been going on all year.
I'm sure you've seen the Russell Westbrook/#Suns fan interaction by now, but visiting players have been going through the club area to the visiting lockerroom all season.

The NBA is looking into the situation, according to TNT’s Chris Haynes.
Game 2 of the series is back in Phoenix on Tuesday night. Hopefully fans don’t act that way again.
