Part of the M77 motorway in East Renfrewshire is "closed" due to "delayed overnight roadworks".
Traffic Scotland has said the busy road's northbound carriageway after Junction 5 (Maidenhill) is currently shut.
The agency said the "delays and congestion [are] extremely heavy".
The road is closed due to "delayed overnight roadworks".
Motorists travelling on the motorway are being warned to expect delays of up to one hour and 20 minutes.

Traffic Scotland said: "We understand the huge inconvenience this has caused for numerous motorists. These essential works were delayed due to equipment fault."
Traffic Scotland reported that the road will re-open around 8am, but at the time of writing no confirmation has arrived.
