Now the queens from the most recent series are touring ahead of series four. Last night, they took to the stage at Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena and gave every single person there a night they'll never forget.
The arena was condensed down to offer a more intimate show, with a pared back set design - leaving it up to the queens to impress us. And impress us they did.
Following a minute’s silence in honour of Queen Elizabeth II, the crowd was treated to an introduction of each and every queen of series three and they were immediately cheering, ready to dance, sing and laugh. Led by series three winner Krystal Versace, each act was given a chance to showcase their talents - which made for a brilliant, varied night of fun.
Each queen was well-received by the crowd, taking the time to showcase their full range of charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent. From the first moment, the show was action-packed, with comedy, elaborate dance numbers and, of course, flawless makeup.
There were some standout moments, with River Medway performing a stunning Miley Cryus medley, including some of her most famous Hannah Montana songs - and with stunning costumes to match. Choriza May’s High School Musical-turned-Cell Block Tango performance was incredibly funny and exciting, giving the audience a chance to sing along with each word.
Kitty Scott-Claus, dressed in a stunning pink mini dress emblazoned with a shimmering union jack, performed a medley of Spice Girls and Emma Bunton songs that the crowd couldn’t help but sing along with.
For me, the star of the night was undoubtedly Victoria Stone, who performed a number of songs from The Rocky Horror Picture Show, including Science Fiction - Double Feature, Sweet Transvestite and Time Warp. The performance had the whole audience on their feet, singing, dancing and, of course, doing the Time Warp.
While these queens were no longer duking it out over the crown, they certainly gave each other some strong competition last night. And I, for one, am all here for it.
The show came to a close with recreations of lip sync performances and while it left me wanting more, it was seriously impressive. My fingers are crossed for a series four tour already.
Series four of the popular BBC Three show is set to be released on Thursday, September 22. Time to see if the new queens can live up to the stunning series three contestants.
The RuPaul’s Drag Race UK: The Official Series Three Tour continues on to Hull, Bristol, Swansea and more next. You can find the full list here .
