Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK series three will be aired this autumn.
The hit show, which started in America but made its way across the pond to the UK back in 2019, will return on BBC iPlayer for another series.
Following the success of series one and two, 12 more drag queens from across the UK will compete in a range of challenges that test their drag skills, to win the all-important crown and sceptre.
The winner of the show will also receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Hollywood, to film their own mini-series with the producers of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
The queens taking part in this series have not yet been announced but the show’s Instagram page released a sneak peek video, teasing the new arrivals by showing their hands covered in big jewels and over-the-top colourful nails and glitter.
The video also includes RuPaul’s song ‘Category Is’ in the background.
Fans of the show have been left excited by the announcement as series two only ended in March this year, with Scottish queen Lawrence Chaney taking the crown.
The announcement comes just weeks after Scouse drag queen and the winner of series one, The Vivienne, made a guest appearance on Emmerdale as part of their Pride celebrations.
