'Running the show' - Man United fans praise player's role in build-up to Antony goal vs Nottingham Forest

Manchester United fans have heaped praise on Bruno Fernandes for his excellent work in the build-up to Antony's opening goal vs Nottingham Forest.

United took a first-half lead in an entertaining game at the City Ground, despite losing Marcel Sabitzer to injury before kick-off, but came under pressure from an energetic Forest who were unfortunate not to be awarded a penalty when the ball struck Harry Maguire's arm. Erik ten Hag's side also looked threatening and took the lead in the 32nd minute.

Anthony Martial won the ball back deep into Forest's half and got the ball to Fernandes before carrying on his run. The Portuguese then hit a brilliant first-time pass on the spin to send Martial straight through on goal

The Brazilian scored in his first three Premier League matches since his big-money transfer but had gone on a lengthy goal drought since then. His strike at the City Ground was his first league goal since October.
