Footage has emerged online that some claim supports the rumours about the deteriorating health of the Russian President.
A new video of Vladimir Putin has gone viral as he appears unsteady on his feet during an Orthodox Easter service that took place in Moscow on Sunday.
The 69-year-old was also seen fidgeting and biting his lips during the clip which has added to the suspicions of many that he is very ill as he continues to lead the invasion of Ukraine.
Putin can be seen swaying during the Mass, and looks visibly uncomfortable, as he sticks out his tongue and bites his lips while Patriarch Kirill announces that “Christ has risen.”
This latest indication of ill health follows reports of the Russian President looking bloated as he was caught gripping a table for support in footage released by the Kremlin last week.
Anders Aslund, a Swedish economist and former adviser to Russia took to Twitter in response to the rumours and wrote: “Putin's meeting with Shoigu today shows both depressed and seemingly in bad health.
“Shoigu has to read his comments to Putin and slurs badly, suggesting that the rumors of his heart attack are likely.
“He sits badly. Poor performance. Worth watching.”
Meanwhile, former UK politician Louise Mensch said the footage appears to back earlier reports that “Vladimir Putin has Parkinson’s disease.”
Others have claimed the President has been undergoing treatment for Cancer behind closed doors.
But, despite the ongoing rumours of a number of potential health issues, the Kremlin continues to deny any allegations that Putin’s health is at risk.
