Take That frontman Gary Barlow is believed to have made a whistle-stop visit to North Somerset - to perform at a private party. The singer is understood to have been booked to perform a gig at a glitzy shindig at a property at Cadbury Camp Lane in Clapton-in-Gordano on Saturday night (May 21).
A huge marquee was seen being erected at a property on the private lane - dubbed Millionaires Row - ahead of the gig. Local people also reported seeing a high level of security in the lane ahead of the party starting, reports Somerset Live.
Rumours that the songwriter was in the leafy village were the talk of the local pub, The Black Horse. “A lot of people have been talking about the fact that Gary Barlow was in the village for a party,” said a member of staff.

“He didn’t come into the pub though, which is a shame as he’d have been very welcome.” Cadbury Camp Lane is one of North Somerset’s exclusive roads and properties there cost several million.
Countdown legend Carol Vorderman once owned a property on the lane called ‘Sloblock Hall.’ But she sold the property - which she described as the ‘house of a thousand parties’.
