Cyberpunk 2077 is coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate – at least that’s what we’re being led to believe by several screenshots from Xbox users.
Cyberpunk 2077 launched in late 2020 to a very mixed response and was harshly criticized at the time for bug and performance issues. Now, more than a year later, it seems like the developer and publisher CD Projekt RED has a big announcement for fans, as today a stream announcing the future of Cyberpunk 2077 will premier on CDPR’s Twitch.
Update: My earlier tweet for Cyberpunk 2077 Gamepass was Korean but now a Russian MS Store also appeared saying coming to "Xbox Game Pass"

Speculation and “leaks” indicate that the stream today will finally showcase Cyberpunk 2077 properly optimized for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Finishing the stream with confirmation that the game is coming to Xbox Game Pass would be an excellent way to sign off, and just might give this maligned release a second lease on life. This could also be confirmation of Cyberpunk 2077‘s rumored expansion.
The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate speculation comes from a screenshot of Xbox’s Microsoft Store, shared on Twitter by @HazzadorGamin. This is the second screenshot the account has shared showing Cyberpunk 2077 coming to Xbox Game Pass, though even the owner of the account doubted the legitimacy of the first screenshot.

We should find out the truth in just a few hours. While Cyberpunk 2077 has rightly been criticized, the game is still a very fun open-world action RPG, even if it doesn’t quite live up to the hype surrounding it before release. Go in without any expectations, and you’re likely to enjoy yourself.
We’ll will update this post with more information once the Cyberpunk 2077 stream airs later today at 7am PST, 10am EST, and 3pm GMT.
