The Cleveland Browns need a left tackle entering the 2025 season, but they may just have their guy in-house in Dawand Jones.
The Browns hold four picks in the top 100 in the 2025 NFL draft, and very well could use one on a left tackle. However, one Browns media member, Jared Mueller of Dawgs by Nature, has reported a rumor that he heard in the offseason that the Browns are hoping for the former Ohio State offensive tackle to start at left tackle next season.
Here is what Mueller had to say:
“Dawand Jones is expected to start at left tackle unless something opens up that makes more sense.”
Jones broke his fibula in 2024, ending his season for the second straight year. We are a long way from the offseason that could see a tackle join the team in free agency or the NFL draft, but Jones could have a leg up.
