Clenched fists were flying, three cards were shown, and now one player has been handed an eight match ban. The brawl between Halifax Panthers and Barrow a has been a huge source of drama.
The Panthers were leading 12-24 with 50 minutes gone in the Betfred Championship, and then everyone lost their cool.
Barrow's Hakim Miloudi tackled Panther's Greg Worthington very high, and wrestled him by his neck to the ground. Worthington didn't take kindly to this and launched a couple of haymakers at Miloudi. The commentary team were aware of the chaos that was about to ensue: "It's on!".

The screen is a blur of blue and yellow as both teams fly in to either de-escalate the situation or pour petrol on the flames. The fight seemingly dissipates before the camera cuts back to a different shot, with Miloudi dropping to the ground. This kicks it off again as the referee desperately tries to maintain some form of order by blowing his whistle.
Two reds and a yellow were handed out, and Panthers went on to secure an 18-43 victory. However, despite initially being given a red, Panthers' Titus Gwaze has been fined £250 and handed an eight match ban in the last week, a Grade F offense. He was accused of picking up Miloudi off the ground when he was down injured.
Barrow's Miloudi picked up a Grade B head butt charge, and was slapped with a one match ban. Panthers' Greg Worthington, who threw the first punch, was given a three match ban for a Grade D punching charge.
