Rudy's Pizza has a new fan as Lewis Capaldi keeps up celebration tradition

It's no secret Lewis Capaldi is a pizza-lover, so it comes as no surprise to find out he celebrated his first gig of the new year with a slice!

Lewis chowed down on popular pizza chain Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana after wrapping up his Leeds gig. The gig marked the start of his tour and honestly, we couldn't think of any better way to celebrate the occasion than celebrating with Rudy's.

The pizzeria took to Instagram to share a review Lewis left behind after ordering a Margherita pizza on Sunday, posting a picture of him holding his thumb up, giving a seal of approval.

The Hold Me While You Wait singer is due to perform at Manchester AO Arena on Wednesday as part of his tour, leaving fans wondering whether he will be returning to Rudy’s.

Rudy's opened their first restaurant in Ancoats back in 2015 and now have restaurants in Chorlton, Didsbury and Peter St in Manchester.

Capaldi was spotted at Nell’s pizza in Manchester last September celebrating his chart-topping single, Forget Me, hitting 20 million streams on Spotify.

Pointless is the second single from Lewis' upcoming second studio album, Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, which is set for release in May.

Lewis also has his own pizza range. There are two flavours to choose from - The Big Sexy Cheesy One and The Big Sexy Meaty One, both priced at £5 in Iceland.

The Scot has returned after a three-year break following the success of his debut album ‘Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent’ which sold over 10 million copies.
