Rudy's Neapolitan Pizza expands to open latest branch in Chapel Allerton

A growing pizza chain is set to open a restaurant in the former Casa Mia restaurant on Chapel Allerton's Stainbeck Lane, creating 40 jobs.

Rudy's Neapolitan Pizza will launch the North Leeds site next month, adding to its existing restaurant in the city centre, on New Station Street.

The Manchester-founded chain, which also has sites in Greater Manchester, Soho, Liverpool and Birmingham, is also recruiting for staff including pizza makers and front of house workers.

Gabi Eyres, general manager of Rudy’s Chapel Allerton, said: “We’re really excited to bring Rudy’s to the neighbourhood.

"It won’t be long before we are able to fire up the oven and serve delicious Neapolitan pizza. As a team we can't wait to become part of the community.”

Rudy's - which began in 2015 and is owned by hospitality group Mission Mars - uses ingredients imported twice a week from Naples, including Caputo '00' flour, San Marzano tomatoes grown near Mount Vesuvius and Fior di Latte mozzarella.

To entice customers, the chain is giving away 5,000 pizzas to customers who sign up via its website -rudyspizza.co.uk/chapelallerton.
