Rudy Giuliani has reached a settlement with two Georgia election workers after defaming them in their pursuit to collect on a $150 million debt, as per a court filing on Thursday.
Giuliani was facing a trial that could have resulted in him losing his Florida condo, which he claims as his primary residence, along with several New York Yankees World Series rings. The dispute with Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss centered around whether his $3.5 million Florida condo could be exempt from their debt collection efforts.
Freeman and Moss had previously been granted a variety of Giuliani's valuable possessions in court, including his $6 million Manhattan apartment, luxury watches, furniture, and baseball memorabilia. However, they encountered difficulties in collecting some items despite court orders for Giuliani to surrender his possessions.
In a post on X on Thursday, Giuliani stated that he would retain all of his personal belongings that the Georgia election workers had sought or obtained. He also confirmed that he would keep his New York City apartment and Florida oceanside condo.
Attorneys representing Freeman and Moss did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
