People watching the chat show at home described the programme as "the best thing on television" and hailed the host for his "gifted" interviewing style.
Snooker legend Jimmy White, Monaghan actress Charlene McKenna and musician Brush Shiels were the latest guests to appear on the show.
Tommy Tiernan received widespread plaudits from the public after the show, with many taking to social media to heap praise on the comedian.
