RTE journalist Katie Hannon is receiving plaudits after presenting not one but two shows on Monday.
The broadcaster stood in for Joe Duffy on Liveline as the lunchtime radio host was away following the death of his "beloved" mother Mabel.
Later that day, Katie also filled in for Claire Byrne on her eponymous RTE One current affairs programme.
Claire will be absent from her radio and television shows this week as she spends more time with her family over the mid-term break.
Claire Byrne Live featured several well-known guests on Monday night with topics such as mask-wearing, Covid-19 and the sex for rent controversy discussed.
Among the guests were Fair City's George McMahon, a young girl who is hard of hearing, Professor Luke O'Neill and a Met Eireann meteorologist.
RTE viewers took to social media to praise Katie for her "great work" in hosting the show after a busy day working on two programmes.
She was hailed as "a breath of fresh air" by some with others saying she "knocked it out of the park".
One person said: "Katie Hannon is great! #CBLive."
A second wrote: "#cblive Give Katie Hannon the job full-time!"
A third joked: "Nice change to see Katie and Katie's biro co-hosting the show. #CBLive."
A fourth said: "Not even 10mins into the show and already Katie Hannon is a breath of fresh air. She should get her own show. That is all. #cblive."
To which someone else replied: "She's brilliant on #Liveline too. A real tonic...and a genuinely lovely person too. @KatieGHannon."
Another person commented: "A large glass of [wine] for @KatieGHannon tonight. In for @joeliveline at lunchtime & now presenting @ClaireByrneLive."
One added: "Excellent work @KatieGHannon."
Someone else said: "#cblive Can we just keep @KatieGHannon in this slot ???"
One viewer stated: "@KatieGHannon you’ve had a busy day. Well done girl you have knocked it out of the park."
While another chimed in: "Fair play to @KatieGHannon taking over #liveline and #cblive today."
