Some 400,000 people crowded into Dublin city on Thursday to celebrate St Patrick's Day, with many enjoying the parade after a two-year hiatus.
Those who couldn't view the spectacle in person tuned in to the television coverage provided by RTE.
However, some viewers were left disappointed by the coverage, with one gripe shared by the majority of those not happy with how the parade was broadcast.

Several RTE viewers took to social media to express their dissatisfaction that the full parade was not included in the station's programming.
Posting on the Reddit Ireland forum, people questioned why the coverage only lasted for an hour and 45 minutes.
They also noted that the live broadcast of the parade was "cut short" and not shown in full.
One person said: "It was cut short, the parade still going on and they ended the programme."
A second wrote: "I was bummed they ended it while it was still going strong."
A third commented: "They stopped before the parade is even finished. You’d think they’d stop on the main RTE channel and even continue on RTE news now or even the player. Half a parade we get."
Someone else said: "The biggest live festival in Ireland, you'd think they would show all of it."
Another wrote: "They cut it off halfway through, and of the half we saw, we probably actually only saw part of that."
While one viewer added: "Half a parade constantly interrupted with interviews that no one cares about."
The St Patrick’s Day parade in Dublin kicked off from Parnell Street after 12pm and lasted until around 2.30pm.
The parade was lead by a tribute to the people of Ukraine, as a sign of solidarity, as it made its way through the city centre.
