RTE viewers were full of praise for pundits Lisa Fallon and Richie Sadlier as they appeared on Tuesday's Champions League coverage.
Sadlier was back on the screens after a lengthy lay off with the former football underdoing back surgery last year.
And Fallon has become a regular on the show with the coach impressing many with her punditry.
And the two tackled Liverpool's 3-1 away win to Benfica in Portugal.
Although Liverpool looked sluggish in the second half, a late Luis Diaz goal gives the side breathing space going into the second leg as a couple of crunch ties with Manchester City loom large.
Viewers on Saturday were quick to praise the hard hitting pundits with one viewer writing: "Himself & Lisa Fallon there, two of the best in the business!"
While another praised Sadlier individually: "He’s levels above the majority of pundits out there."
It was an intriguing night of Champions League action as Liverpool stepped one foot into the semi-finals with Ibrahim Konate, Sadio Mane and Luis Diaz all getting on the scoresheet for Liverpool.
Manchester City also battled hard to a 1-0 win against a stubborn Atletico Madrid side with Kevin De Bruyne getting on the end of a stunning Phil Foden pass.
The two sides meet on Sunday before meeting again a week later in the FA Cup.
