RTE viewers hailed gold medal winners Lisa O'Rourke and Amy Broadhurst as 'absolute heroes' after their appearance on the Late Late Show.
The pair appeared on the season finale of the popular talk show and viewers were full of praise for the gold medal heroes.
O'Rourke and Broadhurst continued the golden period for Irish boxing as they scooped winners medals at the recent World Championships with many tipping the pair to feature at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
In what was a magical day, Broadhurst scooped gold against her Algerian opponent and Broadhurst had also sparred with Katie Taylor in the build up to the Bray fighter's bout against Amanda Serrano.
And in a nerveless third round performance in her world title fight, Broadhurst managed to comfortably win gold.
Lisa O'Rourke also had to dig deep in her fight as she did enough in her final round as they joined Katie Taylor and Kellie Harrington as world title winners.
And viewers were full of praise for the pair as they joined Ryan Tubridy on RTE.
One social media user wrote: "Fair play Lisa O’Rourke ! Hon the Rossies !"
While another added: "Isn't it great to see Amy Broadhurst and Lisa O'Rourke on the tele"
And another said: "Go on Amy!!"
While another said :"Lisa O'Rourke is such an inspiration....World Boxing Champion & Roscommon County Player. Can't wait to give her a huge applause at the Connacht Final"
