RTÉ Today hosts Dáithí Ó Sé and Maura Derrane were caught up in an hilarious blunder on Wednesday’s episode of the daytime show.
During the 50/50 quiz segment, Kerry native Dáithí read out a question for the caller Veronica.
He asks: “In what country was the 1990 World Cup held? A: Italy, or B: USA”
In a funny turn of events, Daithi O’Shea and Maura Derrane reveal the answer to the caller by prompting, "Italia 90?"
Daithi repeats the answer options, and despite hearing the answer, the caller answers incorrectly and chooses the wrong answer, ‘USA’.
Both presenters continued with asking the caller questions, and while they gave away the Italia 90 answer, and the caller didn’t notice.
After the blunder, Dáithí and Maura can be seen putting their hands up to their faces.
Viewers of the show took to social media to share their thoughts on the hilarious mishap.

RTÉ star Daithi O Se recently gave his followers an insight into his Christmas trip with his wife and son.
The Today presenter, his wife Rita and their son Mícheál flew to Berlin earlier this week for a family trip.
Taking to Instagram, Daithi shared a video of himself enjoying a market in the city.
Daithi captioned the video saying: "Christmas Market in Berlin."
Co-host and Galway native Maura was back on screens on Wednesday to present the Today show alongside Dáithí.
The presenter wore a black sparkly top, black skinny trousers and black pointy heels.
The 52-year-old posed in the Cork RTÉ studio and shared the snap to Instagram.

Maura recently revealed how she had to give up her wild party lifestyle - admitting her big nights out almost got her fired.
She opened up about having to keep her "wild" side at bay in order to keep in job.
Maura told The Sunday Times: "Oh, there’s a lot of wildness there. There are horns growing out of my head and I’m always pushing them down and putting sticking plasters over them.
"I love going out, but have to try to keep a lid on it, as the problem is that if I go out, I just don’t want to come home."
