Ireland's Fittest Family coach Anna Geary nearly had an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction on live television.
The RTÉ star made a very quick outfit change before her appearance on the Six O'clock Show on Thursday evening.
Anna appeared on the show to talk about Ireland's Fittest Family & her RTÉ Radio 1 show “Supercharged with Anna Geary” , the world of media, pressure and body image & a whole lot more.
Anna is the current winning coach on the popular RTÉ One's television programme “Ireland's Fittest Family” and was previously the winning coach in 2016 & 2018.
The presenter revealed on her Instagram stories that she forgot to wear tan on her legs, and opted to wear tights.
She had a fashion faux pas when the tights ripped leaving a ladder in them at the toe.
Anna said: “couldn't make it up, I’d no time to put on tan, so I said ‘I'll wear tights, they’ll be graaand. I forgot how fine the material is though (so top tip: take your time putting them on) unlike me, who ripped a ladder in the toe of them!!
“I swear to god, I was sneaking the odd glance down at my leg during the show, to see would the ladder start making it’s way out of the shoe boot and up the leg.”
The Cork native was worried that the ladder would move up her leg and be displayed on camera.
She is also a qualified Personal Trainer and a former All Ireland Winning Camogie Captain.
Anna has won over 20 All Ireland medals during her illustrious sporting career, including 7 Senior titles.
Since retiring from Camogie, the Cork native has been carving out a broadcasting career.
The star told fans: "This is the first time I'm wearing tights on TV and I'll be honest it's because I didn't get a chance to tan my legs.
"It's October so we're allowed. I actually tried to put them on in the car. It just was not happening.
It comes after Anna teased plenty of "shocks" are to come on the new series of Ireland's Fittest Family.
She will be joined by other coaches Donncha O'Callaghan, Davy Fitzgerald and Nina Carberry.
The foursome will be picking families who they think have the ability to go all the way through the series' tough courses and challenges.
She previously presented a radio show 'Pumped Up Kicks' on Today FM with Declan Piece on Saturdays from 2pm-6pm and The Sunday Show with Anna Geary on Cork’s Red FM, as well as contributing to multiple shows including, “Today with Claire Byrne” on RTE Radio One.
She will return to Ireland's Fittest Family on Sunday to RTÉ One.
