Angela Scanlon said she is ‘besotted’ as she welcomed her second child with her husband Roy Horgan earlier this month.
The Irish TV and radio presenter announced the news on social media on Monday with a picture of her new daughter Marnie.
Meath native Angela, who is based in the UK, said she welcomed her little girl into the world on February 11.
The RTE and BBC star, who is already mum to three-year-old Ruby, wrote: "Marnie Fae Horgan. 11.2.22
"Chapped lips & chapped nips can only mean one thing… our little woman has arrived!! We are besotted x"
It comes after fans had been speculating if she had already welcomed baby number two, after she posted a picture of a cake that had the words 'Hello baby' written on it on February 13.
Famous friends and followers rushed to congratulate the star on her new arrival as she shared the first snaps this week.
Singer Imelda May said: “Ah she’s adorable!!! Congratulations to you all. Grá mór.”
Irish celebrity chef Clodagh McKenna said: "Congratulations Angela!! Sending you all lots of love."
Reality star Vicky Pattison wrote: “Omg congratulations beautiful girl.”

Angela had told that she had been planning a home birth just weeks before she was due to welcome her new baby.
