Tommy Tiernan and his wife Yvonne celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary this week with a loved-up snap.
The well-known couple tied the knot back in 2009 in a star-studded event in Castle Leslie in Co Monaghan.
And despite being one of the biggest performers and presenters in Ireland, comedian turned chat show host Tommy tends to keep their personal lives private.
However, singer and talent boss Yvonne took to Instagram this week to celebrate their marriage in a gushing post.
Sharing a snap of the pair posing in front of a beach at Barna, Co Galway, the podcast host and producer said: "12 Years Mr & Mrs #grateful #weddinganniversary.”
Irish singer and actress Maria Doyle Kennedy, who attended their wedding, led the well wishes and congratulations in the comments, and reminisced on the happy occasion.
She said: “Congratulations to you both, great great memories of the whole shebang.”
Irish actor Patrick Bergin wrote: "Happy anniversary to you two from myself and Helen."
Other friends, family and fans also flocked to congratulate the pair, with another adding: “What a beautiful Pic of you two! Happy Anniversary and many many more.”
Top RTE host Tommy has six children - three from his marriage to Yvonne and three from his previous relationship with Jayme Street.
Tommy and Yvonne tend to keep their personal lives private, but Tommy has praised his wife for her tolerance to being mentioned in his comedic stand-up routines in the past.
When previously interviewed by Dublin Live, he said: "My wife tells people that I have a real wife and a comedy wife.
"That's how we survive as a couple but the reason people laugh at what I say is because it's recognisable and couples relate to it."
Meanwhile, Yvonne, who acted as the comic’s manager for a decade, describes her husband as being one of the most "generous" people she knows - not materialistically, but instead in his loyalty and time.
