RTE's hit crime drama Kin had its season two finale on Sunday night and left fans stunned by all its twists, and there's great news as a third and fourth season are on the way.
Season three of the RTE One show was reportedly filmed last summer, the Irish Mirror reports. The season two finale has hinted that season three will see Gardai close in on Amanda's dodgy money laundering operations and a number of bombshell shootings.
And RTE has now also commissioned a fourth season of the popular gangland drama, according to the Sunday World. Their sources have said that filming for season four is set to kick off in September 2023.

The crime show has attracted hundreds of thousands of viewers on RTE One every Sunday night for the last few weeks, as family patriarch Bren (played by Francis Magee) wreaked havoc on his family after being released from prison. The Kinsella family feud came to a head in the final episode last night with multiple deaths and fans were in total shock.
In the season two finale, RTE Kin fans finally got their wish as baddie Bren met his maker. However, some fans were left divided over the violent scenes that aired for the finale, as some called the episode a difficult watch while others relished in the final scenes.
Kin was created by Peter McKenna and Ciaran Donnelly, and season two was directed by Felix Thompson, directing duo Christine Molloy and Joe Lawlor, and Kate Dolan. The show's second season has featured an ensemble cast including: Aidan Gillen (as Frank Kinsella), Charlie Cox (as Michael Kinsella), Clare Dunne (as Amanda Kinsella), Emmett J. Scanlon (as Jimmy Kinsella), Sam Keely (as Eric 'Viking' Kinsella), Yasmin Seky (as Nikita Murphy), Maria Doyle Kennedy ( as Bridget 'Birdy' Goggins), Francis Magee (as Brendan 'Bren' Kinsella) and Mark McKenna Jr (Anthony Kinsella).
The drama is Irish TV’s biggest crime series since the hugely successful Love/Hate, which ran for five seasons from 2010 to 2014.
