RTE 2FM star Doireann Garrihy has shared an embarrassing blunder she made on live TV that left her "f***ing scarlet".
The 30-year-old radio presenter appeared on new show, Zoo Live, a three-night special broadcast live from Dublin Zoo.
On the show, Doireann said that her family, who are from Dublin, were "honorary members" of the zoo when she was growing up.
However, what she meant to say was they had a standard annual pass for the zoo.
It was her mother, Clare, who pointed out her gaffe, as she messaged her daughter on Whatsapp, joking: "Honorary members??
"Honorary members don't have to pay!! Good work on the flamingo nest. You are well able to shovel s***e."
Doireann exposed her hilarious mix-up on Instagram, writing to her followers: "F*****g scarlet for myself. I said we were honorary members of the zoo back in the day.

"I meant like season ticket holders/ annual pass holders or whatever the equivalent of that is for the zoo."
Doireann is celebrating three years this month at the helm of 2FM Breakfast, which she co-hosts with Carl Mullan and Donncha O’Callaghan every morning.
But the breakfast radio host said she knows that her success can “change in a flash”, adding it’s always good to keep up work outside of her radio show.
Speaking at the announcement of the nominees for this year’s Platinum VIP Style Awards, Doireann said: “In this industry you are never safe really.
"There is always that fear there because it can change in a flash and that’s why I suppose I love to stay busy outside of 2FM and I think I would be stupid not to.
"I even said that to the two Johnnies to keep the podcast at the level it is at, not like they wouldn’t but I think it is important to keep all balls in the air, keep all passions going, that you’re not face planted if something goes wrong in radio.”
She said she’s always thinking about the show’s listenership ratings.
“It’s definitely on your mind but I’ve learned that it is ebbs and flows. It’s up and down. As long as you’re enjoying the job and doing the job to the best of your ability and trying to build the best possible team around you.
“If you’re doing all of that, I think that is all you can do.”
