Ryan Tubridy has spoken about how "excited" he is for the Late Late Show this Friday - as he announced actor Brian Cox as the latest guest on this week's episode of the long-running chat show.
The veteran Scottish actor has a whole host of awards in his back pocket from a career spanning over five decades.
With credits in the likes of the X-Men films, Churchill, Frasier and Rise of the Planet of the Apes to his name, he's best known these days for his role as Logan Roy in Succession.

And it seems like it's the latter that has Ryan giddy ahead of Friday's show.
Speaking on The Ryan Tubridy Show on Radio One on Wednesday morning, Ryan revealed: "Brian Cox, who plays Logan Roy the big over-the-top, overbearing patriarch, will be joining us on The Late Late Show this Friday live in-studio...
"I am so excited to see him in the flesh...
"It will be very, very interesting to talk to him, what an actor he is. He will be joining in a very busy show, it is going to be a good one."
Brian is the second person we know that Ryan will be talking to as Spice Girl and pop legend Mel C will also be sitting down for a chat.
Her appearance comes as the Wannabe hitmaker has just released her autobiography, Who I Am.
The Late Late Show returned for its 60th year on the air earlier this month - but there is one episode that people are already counting down the days to, including Ryan himself.
Speaking last month at the launch of the RTÉ winter season, Ryan said: "The Toy Show 2022 is going to be very important, for a number of reasons.
"I think people are going to be suffering economically, and they’re going to need the most beautiful and enormous hug, as a family on the couch.
"I think they’re going to be worried about their kids in terms of affordability, whether that’s toys or clothes or shopping and food. It’s going to be a tough time.
"So, what do we do? We respond by reflecting people’s needs back. I think our watchwords will be nostalgia, Christmas, family, love, joy - not the TV show! There’s a comma in there! - and a sense of community."
The Late Late Show airs this Friday at 9.30pm on RTÉ One.
