RTE viewers to Room To Improve on Sunday night were left scratching their heads on a number of fronts during last night's show.
The latest episode brought us to Blessington, Co Wicklow, where a shed was being demolished and converted into a stunningly modern new home for retired couple Carmel and Hugh.
Hugh and Carmel O'Neill are no strangers to the show having already had their old house revamped by celebrity architect Dermot Bannon.

But not all is as it seems as they didn't actually move into the finished product. The original house was being done up by Carmel and Hugh's daughter and partner, Hilary and Paul Fairbrother while the older couple planned to downsize with a €230,000 budget.
That's why viewers were left with a burning question during last night's episode: "Is this a repeat?"
Viewers couldn't quite place the couple if they missed the start of the new episode which explained the connection. Others were quick to set the record straight that this wasn't a repeat, with one viewer saying it was "the sequel we all deserve."
In the episode, Dermot went toe to toe with headstrong Carmel who had very set ideas of how she wanted her new home to look and feel.
She bought cabinets and chairs without telling the perfectionist architect and even questioned the size of the kitchen before Dermot cleared up some features on the plans to allay fears.
Carmel also brought Dermot to a showroom to unveil her plans for a "shaker-style" kitchen but he quickly convinced her something with more clean lines would work better.
Carmel referred to the finished shape of the kitchen which shows off the incredible views, saying on the show: "I'm really happy with the kitchen, I had this idea in my head for the shape but you were absolutely right Dermot. You were absolutely right about that one and I just love it."
There was also a run-in over the front door as the couple's choice of a bottle green door never materialised and instead Dermot was in a fight to convince them it wasn't grey.
Dermot made his usual site visits during the build and during one, clearly made a fatal mistake as his jacket showed on screen. Viewers were quick to spot his error.
One posted the above picture and said: "What wall did you lean on?" Dermot even replied to the tweet on Sunday night with a laughing emoji but didn't explain if it was paint or simply a bit of dust.
Meanwhile, other social media users were charmed by couple Carmel and Hugh. One person commented: "Oh I love Carmel and Hugh we must protect them at all costs." A second joked: "Every person under 40: These are just my parents."
A fourth added: "The house was fab! Great couple… good characters."
