RTE Prime Time viewers were left less than impressed after Thursday nights debate between Housing Minister Darragh O'Brien and Sinn Fein's Eoin O'Broin.
Viewers of the programme became frustrated as the pair continuously talked over one another, with many people deciding there was no victor of the housing crisis discussion.
Taking to Twitter, many people felt the debate was one-sided, with some coming to the conclusion that the show was a 'bore'.
One person said: "'Eoin just wants to talk over me'
"Says the minister who has spent almost every interview and debate talking over others."
A second said: "That debate was painful. Darragh O Brien not letting Eoin get a word in edgeways and @franmcnulty being in Darraghs pocket refusing to control him. 2 idiots."
A third said: "The more I think about that debate the worse I think @franmcnulty did. It was really, really poor.
" @DarraghOBrienTD played a clever game and got the run of the house, while @EOBroin forced to play 'put out the fires'."
However, some felt O'Brien was the clear winner as he made his points ahead of O'Broin.
They said: "No split decisions tonight. O'Brien triumphs with an all-but-unanimous verdict."
But others strongly disagreed, saying: "now that's a shocker !Given the absolute STATE of the Housing Crisis …. How can O'Brien be winning , His party's policies along with @FineGeal have Caused the problem ! #rtept & @rtenews tonight have blown the nonbias charade altogether with they're obvious favouritism for gov!"
The general consensus resulted in neither emerging the victor as both were labelled 'boring' by viewers.
One person wrote: "Well there's a surprise.
"Personally I'd say it was a bore draw."
Another commented: "I wouldn't be gone on either of them tbh".
Others were left amused after the pair were asked if they would ever work together, which led to an awkward silence on air.
They said: "The more interesting moment was the awkward silence with the question on a SF/FF coalition, to be honest. I would have liked a longer debate."
